2025《紐約時報》年度十大好書揭曉 百大值得關注書單不乏亞裔作家身影 （附完整名單）

2025年轉眼將逝，正值歲末年終之際，《紐約時報》繼十一月底發布「2025值得關注的百大書單」後，於十二月四日從中精選出「2025年度十大好書」。這份備受矚目的書單涵蓋了五本虛構小說與五本非虛構作品，以此引領讀者回顧2025年度出版佳作，一探文字世界裡的風景。

年度十大好書書單（節錄）

在虛構小說方面，形式上的突破與歷史的反思成為亮點。美國作家丹尼爾·克勞斯（Daniel Kraus）的《墜落天使》（Angel Down，暫譯）以第一次世界大戰為背景，是一部大膽的意識流作品。全書長達285頁，驚人地僅由一個長句構成，講述一名逃避兵役失敗的男子，竟在殘酷戰場上偶遇天使的奇幻經歷。克勞斯巧妙融合了戰爭的荒謬與神性的救贖，不僅展現了精湛的文字駕馭力，更透過令人難忘的經典場景，傳遞出震撼人心的迫切訊息。

另一部備受好評的作品是德國—奧地利作家丹尼爾·凱曼（Daniel Kehlmann）的《導演》（The Director）。故事聚焦於二十世紀奧地利傳奇電影人 G.W. 帕布斯特（G.W. Pabst），描述他身陷納粹統治下的歐洲，被迫為第三帝國拍攝宣傳片與各種平庸之作。凱曼深刻描繪了主角如何逐一背棄曾堅守的創作原則，在這個分崩離析的世界裡，呈現出一場關於藝術良知與生存妥協的殘酷考驗。

非虛構作品同樣展現了對人性的敏銳觀察。曾任人類學家的布萊恩·戈德斯通（Brian Goldstone），其著作《無處容身》（There Is No Place for Us）將目光投向「有工作的無家可歸者」。他透過追蹤亞特蘭大五個家庭的生存軌跡，描繪出這群不在政府統計數字內、亦被公眾視野遺忘的邊緣群體，賦予他們具體而鮮活的面貌，讀來令人動容。

傳記文學方面，英裔挪威作家蘇·普賴多（Sue Prideaux）撰寫了十九世紀法國畫家高更的傳記《野性事物：保羅·高更的一生》（Wild Thing: A Life of Paul Gauguin）。普賴多透過對高更作品的敏銳解讀，勾勒出這位藝術家矛盾而複雜的形象：他歷經巨富與赤貧，為追求獨特的藝術理想拋妻棄子，甚至在異鄉娶波里尼西亞少女為童養媳；然而，這樣一個私德備受爭議的人，卻又同時挺身對抗殖民當局，捍衛當地鄰里的權益。

而在「2025值得關注的百大書單」中，亞裔作家的作品亦頗受矚目。例如，匡靈秀的《地獄修業旅行》，講述兩位劍橋大學研究生聯手營救深陷地獄的敬愛魔法教授Jacob Grimes的故事；李翊雲的新作回憶錄《Things in Nature Merely Grow》，透過文字直面兩個兒子先後自殺的悲劇；馬來西亞華裔作家歐大旭（Tash Aw）的《The South》，描寫一個馬來西亞家庭在偏遠破敗農場中面對外界期望、個人秘密與錯綜複雜的情感糾葛。
